Many people had expected to see Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the Camaro Z28 at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. However, the show is almost ending and yet there still hasn’t been any signs of the latest Chevrolet duo.

Perhaps, we shouldn’t have expected too much seeing that GM didn’t offer any hints on the appearance of the Corvette ZR1 and the Camaro Z28 at the Detroit show.

On top of that, GM hasn’t even officially announced that there are higher performance versions of the Corvette and the Camaro coming soon. However, there have been many spy shots and videos of the new power duo which gives a sort of inkling to their existence.

So, it could be that GM is saving the big debut for the Chicago Auto Show since it has shown a preference for Chicago in the past years.

But, there is also the possibility that the automaker could decide on milking all the glitz by bringing the all-new Corvette ZR1 and the Camaro Z28 to the New York International Auto Show, seeing that there is where it can gain more premium appeal.

Well, the Chicago Auto Show takes place in mid-February so we’ll have to wait till then to know for sure. Unless, of course, GM decides to spill the beans before that.
