Talk of Grand Theft Auto VI has already started as Rockstar Games has recently announced that development of the sequel is underway, but GTA V doesn’t look like it’s even close to petering out yet.

Boosted by a number of DLCs and a healthy amount of online content, the 2013 game may be rather old by today’s standards given that it’s been out for 31 months, but it’s still selling like hot cakes.

According to gaming industry analyst company The NPD Group (NPD), GTA V was the fourth top-selling game in physical retail stores last month, behind new releases The Division, Far Cry: Primal, and Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

As a matter of fact, GTA V has never fallen out of the sales top ten since its release. It could extend that run a fourth consecutive year if it continues like this for the rest of 2016.

The only other game that’s neither released recently or last year in the top ten list is Minecraft that was launched in 2011. It sits at tenth spot.

GTA 5 is stunning. Online every session has at least one and sometimes a dozen script kiddies ruining the game for everyone. The new scripts let these criminals, supported by R* and Take Two, steal players money, weapons, and other items. R* and Take Two feature videos of this theft as promotion of their software. Then you get a text about purchasing Shark cards for real money from R*. It’s a criminal enterprise tailored to wring every penny from vulnerable players. Do not buy into the kleptocracy by spending real money on this criminal promoting piece of broken software.
