Honda will be issuing a recall to bring back some of their 2019 to 2020 Honda Pilot and 2019 Honda Passport models after it was discovered that they might have some welding issues.
According to the reports, the issue here is at the front frame’s left and right side upper members and the unibody which might not be welded together putting the driver and passengers at greater risk.
Those affected by the recall will be notified by Honda to get their models inspected. If there is indeed an issue, the dealer will offer the owner to buy back the vehicle and offer up a new replacement.
Honda estimated that only about 10 vehicles will be affected by this recall and that the issue if fully traceable. Owners will get a notification from Honda on the 13th of December.
