The current-gen Jeep Grand Cherokee has been around for years now which means it is about time it gets an upgrade.

Luckily, Jeep got that covered that they announce that a redesigned Jeep Grand Cherokee is on the way and that we can expect to see it by 2020. Although we still have a few years to wait, FCA is revealing some extra details about the upcoming Jeep Grand Cherokee.

According to Sergio Marchionne, the next Jeep Grand Cherokee will come riding on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Giulia although he did add that they did modify and extended the architecture so that it can reach both the two-row model and three-row model.

FCA also did announce that the Grand Cherokee would be coming in with semi-autonomous driving tech and plug-in hybrid powertrain from Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid so we have that to look forward to as well.
