The Mazda 3 has been around for a few years now so it made sense that Mazda would want to give it a proper exterior upgrade. While we still do not know what the Mazda 3 production model will look like after the upgrade, the new concept from Mazda might give us an idea of what to expect.

Mazda will be showing off two new concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show this year and while it is only a concept, most people believe that one of the design will be the base for the next Mazda 3 model.

Mazda has since released a few teasers for the concept and it does look like it is an upgraded version of the current Mazda 3. Mazda also added that the concept is a compact hatchback that will be all about the next-gen technology and design and that the concept will be using the Skyactive-X sport-controlled compression ignition engine.

What do you think of the concept so far?
