Mercedes-Benz Issue Will Leave Drivers Unprotected

 -

It looks like you might want to be a little more cautious if you own a Mercedes-Benz in Australia as ACCC reveal an issue with some of their vehicles.

According to the reports, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, CLA, and GLC are reported to have some issues with the airbag. It was added that the airbags on these models might not be secured correctly which could cause it to detach from the base plate and enter into the vehicle putting the occupants at greater risk.

The recall will affect about 268 vehicles from 2019 model year that were sold from the 1st of April until the 30th of September 2019. Those that fall into that gap are asked to contact their retailer and arrange for an inspection.

The recall was also announced in Australia and it is not clear if the same recall if affect those in the US or not.
