The new Microsoft Surface Pro X will be coming in with a new design and while it might not be the most attractive out there, at least you know that something happens, fixing it will be much easier now.

According to iFixit, the new hardware design of the Surface Pro X will make it one of the most repairable Surface design. Microsoft did show off the removable SSD located where the sim card is and can be taken out with a single screw.

The new screen will also be held down using foam adhesive now instead of globs of glue. It will also be assembled using Torx screws making it easier to take apart.

While some parts are easier to remove now, others like the battery will be pretty hard to take out as you will need to disassemble the whole device before you can actually get to battery.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X was given a 6 out of 10 for repairability.
