If you have been playing the popular Minecraft game on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation Vita, you might have to find a new hardware to play on or stop playing altogether as the consoles will no longer be supported once the game receives its latest update.

According to the reports, the next update, the Update Aquatic will mark the end for those devices. This was not that unexpected as there are only 5% of active Minecraft players belongs to that group that Microsoft felt like it was the right time to end it.

Of course, that does not mean that you can’t play the game anymore on those consoles but you will not be getting any of the new content and if you do come across new bugs, chances are, there won’t be a fix.

Despite being around for so many years, Minecraft is still considered one of the best-selling video game and is still clocking in an impressive 74million active players monthly.
