Motorola and LG seems to be leading the pack, in terms of update, right now. They have beaten many other brands including Samsung and HTC in bringing the latest update to their devices.
Motorola recently announced its global kick-off of the Nougat update for its Moto Z and Moto Z Force devices and it will begin this week, according to Motorola.
This update will make these devices compatible with Google’s Android-powered VR platform Daydream. And they would be the first devices from third-party manufacturer to be affirmed to be Daydream-ready.
LG, on the other hand, has brought the latest update to its Sprint G5 devices, making it one of the first flagship devices to get a seat on the Nougat train.
It’s not so surprising that Motorola and LG have received the latest software update before the more popular flagships from Samsung and HTC. This has often been the case in previous year, so it’s nothing really new.
