Volkswagen has been teasing about the next-gen Volkswagen Golf for some time now but what they did not reveal was the reveal date for the highly-anticipated model until now.

There were initial talks that Volkswagen will be revealing it this year but most people were beginning to doubt if it will happen as we creep closer to the end of the year with nothing from Volkswagen. However, Volkswagen finally has a date for us now.

According to the automaker, the next-gen Volkswagen Golf will be revealed on the 24th of October in the same week that the Tokyo Motor Show will be happening but it will not be unveiled in Japan but in Volkswagen’s headquarters in Wolfsburg.

Volkswagen has also released a few new teaser images to get us excited about what is coming our way. We got to see one depicting the interior dash and another teasing the exterior shape. More details will be revealed in a few week’s time.
