Following Nokia’s exit from the mobile industry some years back, HMD Global stepped in to revive the brand and bring it back to center stage. And, it looks like HMD Global has succeeded in doing so.

The company announced the Nokia 6 back in January and the device boasts a 5.5-inch display that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 mated to a 4GB RAM.

This device is fitted with a 3,000mAh battery and it features a dual SIM functionality. Meanwhile, the Nokia 6 packs a 16MP rear-facing camera along with an 8MP selfie-shooter.

But, HMD Global isn’t taking a break from making this device greater. According to a report by Android Soul, the company has started rolling out Android Nougat 7.1.1 update to its Nokia 6 devices.

This Nougat update brings along several new features along with the April security patch from Google. The new features include enhanced emojis, a new power-saving mode and background app management ability.

That’s not all – it even comes with some bug fixes and system improvements to ensure the device is as smooth as ever. Well, Nokia is definitely re-making its mark in the industry.
