2020 Mazda CX-5 Still Nowhere Insight

 -

Despite all the talk about the Mazda CX-5 comes with a diesel engine option that has not happened yet on the 2020 model and some reports are now suggesting that it will not be offered at all.

When asked about the fate of the diesel model, Mazda replied saying with everything that is going on right now, there is no saying that will happen to it. They also clarify that the delay was not because of the emission certification as well.

At this point, it feels like it might just be better for Mazda to just skip a year and only offer another diesel option when the 2021 model. If you are looking to get the gasoline option, the model was released in November last year.

So if you are looking to get a diesel CX-5, maybe you should consider the 2019 model.

Jet Set Radio Sequel Coming?

 -

Fans of Jet Set Radio have been waiting for a sequel for the longest time and it looks like they might be getting it after all 20 years after the first game was released.

According to Kazuki Hosokawa, the lead designer of the game that still works at Sega, the new game would need to come from a team of young and new members just like how they did it back then, he explained that the original team was too old to make the new game.

He added that because of their experience, they tend to create the game the smart way which is not what they want to see happen in the game. Of course, this is far from a confirmation that a sequel is happening but the fact that they are talking about it will give us some hope that they will be able to make it happen.

Cyberpunk 2077: Cat Petting Allowed!

 -

It is nice to see animals in games but it another nice touch when the developer bothered to allow players to pet the animal. We have seen fans request for features like this in the past but for Cyberpunk 2077, it will be a part of the game right from the start.

In the latest IGN preview, it was showed that the cat in the game can be petted. We don’t know if you can do that to dogs in the game as well but knowing that petting the cat is allowed is amazing enough.

Sadly, we will still have to wait months before we can actually pet the car in-game since the game was recently delayed once more. Original set to be released in April, the game was pushed back to September and now it was announced that the game will only be released on the 19th of November.

The game will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One first but will later be offered on the PS5 and Xbox Series X as well.

Bugatti Chiron: Is A Roadster Coming?

 -

There is no telling what we can expect from Bugatti next as even the company seems to be having a problem deciding what they want to offer. The company previously made it clear that they are not looking to enter the SUV race but then announced that they have a crossover design ready.

Well, according to The Supercar Blog, we might see them go back on their words ones more as a Chiron roadster might be in the works. A few years ago, Bugatti made it clear that the Chiron will not be getting a roadster or convertible but this year, but now, it looks like they might actually be interested.

Of course, this is not a confirmation from the automaker and we have not heard anything official yet so we better take it with a pinch of salt but if they do decide to work on a roadster, the vehicle would probably be coming in to compete with models like the Bentley Bacalar and Ferrari SP1.

Jeep will also be offering up the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid model later this year but has not revealed what engine we will be seeing under the hood just yet. There were talks about the 2.0 liter returning to the PHEV model but there were also talks about Jeep possibly using the same powertrain as the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid model.

Mazda 3 With Turbo Confirmed?

 -

We are not sure right now but it does look like Mazda might have just confirmed that they will be offering a 2021 Mazda 3 turbo. The automaker recently replied to some of the tweets with a new teaser video and the phrase “Power comes to those who wait”.

Of course, that could just mean anything at this point but most people seem to believe that Mazda could be teasing about a turbo Mazda 3 model since reports of one coming our way has been going around for some time now.

New reports seem to suggest that the turbo option will be offered on the sedan and hatchback version of the Mazda 3 but possibly with an automatic transmission only.

If this is true, the engine we would probably see is the 2.5-liter turbocharged unit that the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6 was offered with.

Toyota Yaris Leaving The US?

 -

It looks like Toyota is putting a stop to the Toyota Yaris in the US with leaked documents suggesting it.

Tire Meets Road seems to have gotten hold of a document that the automaker sends to their dealers and general manager in the Southwest region which claims that the Toyota Yaris sedan and hatchback model will not be available for the model year 2021 meaning the 2020 model will be the last Yaris for the US.

The current Yaris production will be ending this month. The post was deleted by Reddit but AutoWise contacted Toyota which seems to have confirmed the information.

Despite being around for so many years, Toyota have been finding it hard to convince the buyers to choose the Yaris over its competitors but this also means that manual drivers will have one less option to choose from now.

2021 Audi S3: Spotted On The Track

 -

We have already seen what the 2021 Audi A3 will have to offer as Audi did show it off a few months ago but new spy shots of the Audi S3 surfaced online this week.

The bright blue sedan was spotted on the Nurburgring track with barely any camo on. From what we can see, the vehicle will be getting a larger honeycomb grille along with a black nostril strip sitting on top of the grille. There are also the side air intakes that look to be functional instead of the fake ones are seen on the A3.

The wheels are also bigger now with bigger brakes with some visual differences between the S3 and A3 with the S3 fitted with a quad exhaust outlet with two tips on one side.

We did not see any spy shots of the interior but it should not look too different from the A3.

Tesla Touchsreen Under The Spotlight For The Wrong Reason

 -

NHTSA revealed that they are looking into the Tesla Model S and the touchscreen fitted onto the models after they receive reports of the media-control unit failures that lead to the touchscreen failling.

When fail, the screen will lose its audible and visible touchscreen feature so features like the infotainment, navigation, web browsing, and rear-camera image will not longer be accessible.

There were also claims of it losing charging ability while another claimed that he could not clear the fog from his window because he could not get to the climate controls setting.

Tesla have not responded to the investigation yet.

 -

The 2021 Genesis G70 will be coming in with a big update this time and based on the vehicle that spies spotted this week, the vehicle will be getting some design upgrade to match what the G80 and G90 will be offering.

The spy shots show the G70 to be fitted with a set of new lights that seem to have been taken from the G80 and G90 with the two light fixtures. We also get to see the updated front grille that is not as wide but also does have a similar shape and style.

This could be the sportier version since it was also seen with a red Brembo brake and also possibly the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. There were talks about the vehicle getting the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. In the back sits the oval tailpipes and also thin LED strips.
