After a few teasers, Niantic has finally added the Gen 5 Pokemon into the game but that is not all there is to know.

Besides being able to see Gen 5 Pokemons on the map now, the developer also added a few new items into the game like the Unova Stone which can help players evolve some of the Pokemon like Lampent which has been added into the game.

The Unova Stone can be pick up through the Research Breakthrough. While not all the Gen 5 Pokemon will be added to the game, we will be seeing the three starters, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott as well as Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove, and Blitzle.

Gen 5 Pokemon will also hatch from the eggs. 10Km eggs can now get you Ferroseed, Klink, Litwick, Golett, and Deino. Klinks will also start appearing in Raid Battles.
