There were times when it felt like Polestar was not going to make it but it looks like we are very close to the release of their new Polestar 2 as it was reported that the vehicle is finally in its final stages of development.

The all-electric car will be coming in with a 402hp and 486lb ft of torque engine that will allow the vehicle to go from 0-62mph in 5 seconds. Polestar will also be offering the Polestar 2 with the Performance Pack which will bring in some additional features like Brembo brakes and more. The vehicle is said to also offer an electric range of 275miles thanks to its 78kWh battery pack.

The Polestar2 has now been priced at $64,900 in Germany. Production is expected to start early next year with deliveries expecting to start in June.
