It is normal for games to receive DLCs a few months after it is released so it did come as a surprise when Rockstar decided not to offer it on their GTA 5 game. Fans are hoping that they would not do the same with Red Dead Redemption 2 and here is what the developer have to say.

According to Karl Slatoff, DLC is definitely a very lucrative business model for the company but he also added that it is too soon to decide if Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to get a DLC in the future or not.

He added that it will depend on the game and while they do understand that it is important to keep the fans engage in the game, but they have not decided on whether it would be the right path for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Seeing as even GTA 5 did not the DLC the fans have been begging for, you might not want to get your hopes up too high. The new Red Dead Redemption 2 game will be released on the 26th of October.
