When Android 7.0 Nougat was announced, many folks were thrilled. This was the update that promised to improve your smartphone experience with its array of new features.
However, as many devices have gained its Nougat entry, it appears that many users are left in frustration following their upgrade to Android’s latest operating system.
According to a forum thread on Android Central, many Galaxy S7 users have been upset with how the Nougat update has removed their Favorite Contacts list from the top of their text messaging app.
If Galaxy S7 users want to access their Favorite Contacts list, they will now have to launch their Contacts app and access the Groups and select Starred on Android. Unfortunately, they do not appear to be in the same order as what most folks havegrown accustomed to.
Some even find the drop down notifications pretty much impossible to decipher. These folks also don’t like the new look for the phone and keypad as it looks simply unappealing.
That’s not all – some users have been reported that some of their contacts on their Contact List seems to have gone missing ever since they stepped into Nougat territory.
That said, keep in mind that this can’t exactly be pinned on Google as this is a Samsung thing. We hope that Samsung will not be turning a deaf ear to all these frustrated users and come up with a solution soon.
