Soon after the Samsung Galaxy S9 device was released, some users reported that there were having some issue with the touchscreen display.

According to the reports, some users noticed that the touchscreen had dead spots. Those are areas on the touchscreen that does not respond when touch. Most of the dead spots seem to be on the top or at the bottom of the device.

While there is a chance that these are defective units, others think it could be a software issue as the issue went away after they did a factory data reset for the device.

The good news is that Samsung has finally responded to the reports and added that they are working with affected customers and are investigating the issue right now. We still do not know when a solution will be offered but at least we now know that Samsung is working on it.
