There is a lot to love about the current Toyota Mirai but there was also some space for improvement so let’s hope the second-gen Toyota Mirai will have those issues ironed out.

Toyota announces that the next-gen Toyota Mirai will arrive in 2020 and that they are already working on it. Some people believe that Toyota could be pushing the Mirai out before the Olympic Games which will be starting on the 24th of July.

Most of the important detail like the powertrain of the upcoming Mirai is still a huge mystery right now but there were some speculations that it might actually be something based on the tech that they and BMW have been working on.

With the Tokyo Auto Show being just days away, we might be able to learn a little more about the upcoming Toyota Mirai.
