The 462 PS Mercedes-AMG GT and the 420 PS Porsche 911 Carrera 4S are almost identical when it comes to their performance abilities.

It appears that a mere 66 lb marks a difference among them; in favor of the 911 and a 73 lb-ft advantage for the Mercedes.

Their top speed also almost matches up, rating at 303 km/h (188.2 mph) for the C4S and 304 km/h (188.9 mph) for the AMG GT. With respect to the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint times, they’re completely indistinguishable, both requiring only 4 seconds.

It’s impressive to note that once both cars are up to speed, it’s obvious that they are equally matched as they don’t seem to one up each other.

However, there is some notable differences in its mechanics. The AMG GT has a 456hp and 443lb-ft torque while the 911 Carrera 4S has a 420hp and 368lb-ft torque. They are priced at $111,200 and $110,300, respectively.
