Based on initial information, the next-gen Mazda CX-5 was planned to be a 2018 model but now it seems to be coming as a 2017 model.
The latest Honda CR-V shared a similar situation. It was supposed to make its arrival as a 2018 model but some things shifted in the company which resulted in the CR-V coming as a 2017 model.
Expect to see the Mazda CX-5 crossover boasting pumped up fenders and a better, sleeker greenhouse. It also has a more protruding hood and a shiny new grille while retaining the same headlights, very akin to the new CX-9 three-row crossover.
The specifications have yet to be revealed but it’s bound to be out in the open soon. Look out for the next-gen Mazda CX-5 making its debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
