Volkswagen has made it pretty clear that they are working on offering a few more ID badge models in the future and while they have revealed all the details yet, they did show off a new concept at the LA Auto Show this week.
Called the ID Space Vizzion concept, the vehicle came riding on the MEB architecture. According to Volkswagen, the vehicle was more of a design exercise for them as they wanted to see how far they can push the EV design envelope and the end result was pretty impressive.
Without a door handle, the vehicle can be open using the Keyless Advanced feature which uses the smartphone as the key fob and will open the hatch when it detects it.
On the inside, the vehicle is fitted with a material called the AppleSkin that acts like leather but is actually made from scraps of Apple Juice making. The vehicle was powered by an electric motor that had about 275hp to offer.
No word on whether this will be turned into a production model or not.
