In most cases, the short test drive that you get is not really enough to feel how the vehicle will actually perform but Volkswagen wants to really experience what their Volkswagen Touareg will have to offer by offering a 48-hour test drive for the new Touareg.

This is not the first model that has received a 48-hour test drive as they did offer something similar for the e-Golf and the Touareg will be the second model to get such an offer.

The new Touareg will be offered with a few engine options incliding a 228hp engine option, 286hp version, and 335hp version which will be powered by a 3.0 liter V6 TFSI gasoline engine. Other markets like Germany will be getting a 4.0 liter V8 TDI engine option as well.

The base model will start off from $63,834 while the top of the range R-Line and R-Line Tech will be offered as $68,381 and $72,409.
