Lexus will be issuing a recall to bring back some of their Lexus IS and Lexus GS models after it was discovered that the vehicles have a fuel leaking issue that could cause a fire.

According to the reports, the problem here is with the fuel pulsation dampers in the engine that might harden and crack which would then cause the fuel to leak out. Affected models will be recalled to get their entire fuel delivery pipes replaced which should make it more durable.

Models that will be affected by the recall include thOSE 2006 – 2013 Lexus IS 350, 2010 – 2014 Lexus IS 350C, 2007 – 2011 Lexus GS 350, and Lexus GS 450h from the same year that was all fitted with the 3.5-liter V6 engine. In total, about 115,000 units will be affected in the US.

The Lexus GS has become less appealing the recent years and was then replaced by the new ES
